Description
Performs unit-based reception, clerical, and medical record functions. Is customer oriented and able to communicate with all levels of staff, patients and their families. Serves as liaison between patient care units and all other departments. Assists patients with activities of daily living, performs duties and responsibilities that fall into their standards of performance and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum experience must encompass one of the following: Current student in a relevant field of study, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, EMT-B, or CNA - Knowledge of basic medical terminology - Basic computer knowledge - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing - Excellent customer service skills - Additional languages preferred Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent Certifications: - CERT BLS - CERT CNA preferred
