Pershing X is a technology company pioneering an interoperable, multi-custodial platform that unifies the core areas of wealth management. Wove is seeking a Director, Partner Strategy & Engagement to join the Pershing X | Wove Revenue leadership team.

Our partnerships are core to the Wove value proposition - bringing to the market a fully integrated, multi-custodial advisory platform. Designed with a user-first mindset and deep connectivity, the Wove platform is setting a new standard across the industry for open architecture and interoperability. This role will play a critical role in ensuring we continue to develop and grow this aspect of our strategy.

The role will own end-to-end wove partnerships across (1) multi-custody relationships, (2) capability partnerships, and (3) distribution channels. As a direct report to the Head of Revenue, you will be part of a growing and dynamic team that values a start-up mentality toward growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy and execute agreement with existing and future Wove partners
  • Surface and analyze new opportunities for partnerships and make recommendations on where to invest and prioritize organizational resources
  • Work with Head of Revenue to build, close and deliver a strong pipeline of relevant partnerships, driving product innovation and revenue growth
  • Drive go-to-market and success metrics of each partnership, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Own partnership relationship management and define governance frameworks to increase probability of success
  • Report and own partnership pipeline, KPIs and revenue targets

Experience:

  • Strong track record of identifying, managing, and closing strategic partnerships
  • Experience with ongoing partner relationship management, including tangible commercial outcomes
  • Deep understanding of wealth management and tech
  • Relevant experience with custodial relationships and cloud distribution strategies a plus
  • Project Manager experience a plus
  • 10-15 years of total work experience preferred with 3-5 years of management experience preferred

Skills:

  • Curious, driven, energetic, positive, and ambitious
  • Analytical, data driven - proficient with all relevant modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, etc.)
  • Able to independently managed the full lifecycle of a contract negotiate - from ideation to signature
  • Strong project management skills - proven track-record of being able to manage large projects across a complex organization
  • Excellent executive communication skills
  • Knowledge of the entire wealth ecosystem, including custody and clearing, investments, reporting, and client management

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $125,000 and $273,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
