Womble Bond Dickinson seeks an Office Services Assistant for their Atlanta office. This position provides entry level basic operations functions in one or all of the following areas: operates high volume duplicating equipment, performs associated duplication tasks, ships and receives product and supplies, sorts, distributes and handle incoming and outgoing mail/faxes, as well as applies necessary postage. Provides copier maintenance and/or repair of office services equipment. Makes off-site pick-ups and deliveries in a proficient and timely manner. May perform one or more of the following at entry level: bindery, QC and final check, housekeeping, file services, message center services, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Run high volume copy machines; performs binding and finishing work
Ensure convenience copiers are working; performs routine maintenance repairs
Maintains records for management and inventory purposes
Distribute office supplies, fax transmissions and mail as designated
Utilize accounting devices as directed to ensure accurate charges
Respond to and coordinate all service calls
Deliver work as requested to businesses and residences
May travel between customer buildings
Perform courier services and coverage to the receptionist
Answer customer questions, and provide housekeeping/hospitality duties as assigned
Perform duties related to the shipping and filing of materials
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have high school diploma or GED; some related customer service experience is preferred.
Requires a valid driver's license and dependable mode of transportation with minimum levels of auto insurance coverage due to frequent travel/courier services to other offices and/or client/attorney residences or offices
Working knowledge of basic office equipment, including: Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and imaging software.
Ability to work independently and flexibly to complete projects, and be able to determine the correct method and materials for safely shipping items.
Possess ability to read and comprehend written technical information, as well as troubleshoot issues.
Provide excellent customer relations skills and excellent verbal communication skills
Requires frequent exposure to copier/fax machine noise, toner and changes in room temperature; may be exposed to frequent paper cuts from handling of paper and opening of boxes
Makes daily telephone/in-person contact with customers, employees, managers, vendors and repair persons
Dealing with tight deadlines and quick turnaround times imposes high stress levels
Some physical effort is required which may involve long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing or similar activities as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 75 lbs. and in pushing or pulling machines on wheels, which may weigh up to 700 lbs., in order to move for repairs
Able to work in other WBD offices/locations as needed/assigned
