Elma Electronic Inc. is a global company that designs and manufactures solutions for electronic packaging.  We have an excellent opportunity for you to become a part of our success. We have an immediate opening for a Stockroom Helper in our Lawrenceville, GA location.


The Stockroom Helper will be responsible for the kitting, preparation, verification, packaging, receiving and shipping of goods for Materials distribution. This person will report to the Sr. Manufacturing Manager.


Responsibilities
  • Package goods according to selected carrier specifications and quality standards
  • Perform the data entry duties either on the system or hand-held bar code device related to the receiving of materials, supplies and equipment including verify goods against receiving documents and authorizations, i.e. packing slips and return material authorizations
  • Handle material with Certificates of Compliance for inspection
  • WIP receive material from the production floor or work orders
  • Perform daily cycle counts
  • Pull material for kits, shortages, work orders and/or shippers
  • Create repair work order for non-conforming material from production and update work orders notes with parts being replaced
  • Put away stock from receiving, airfreight, sea freight, and shop
  • Update the system with the location for any material returned to stock
  • Process all carrier shipments – UPS, Federal Express, DHL or common carriers
  • Process all COD shipments using UPS, Federal Express, DHL, will call or common carriers
  • Maintain warehouse equipment including but not limited to printers, tape dispensers, fork-lift, and Insta-Pak machines
  • Maintain order and organization of the work area including compacting boxes
  • Maintain necessary files and documentation
  • Follows procedures as established in ELMA’s quality manual
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 3-5 years related warehouse experience in a production environment
  • PC literate with experience in MS Word, Excel and database programs
  • Good communication skills
  • Organization and interpersonal skills
  • Forklift certification preferred
